Baby Koala was created on the back of the glass by a technique called reverse painting.
After the painting was finished, a thick layer of protection lacquer was poured on it. This will prevent the painting from being scratched and will keep the colours from fading.
The top of the glass was covered with eucalyptus leafs, painted with window colour paints and filled with thick clear gloss epoxy.
The window frame was left looking natural and linseed oil rubbed in the wood for additional protection.
To add more of the 3D feeling to this window, I attached some real bark on top of the eucalyptus tree branches.
